Privacy Policy constitutes the integral part of Terms of Service of the Website and has to be read in connection with them.

This Privacy Policy is based on General Data Protection Regulation and Latvian personal data protection law.

Who is in charge of your personal data collection


We, SIA “MUSCLE”, Ģertrūdes iela 77—14, Rīga, LV-1011 (ProTuning, “we”) are a controller of your personal data, i.e. we determine the purposes and means of your personal data processing and are responsible for its safety.

What are the purposes of personal data collection and use
We use your personal data provided while making an order, exclusively for the processing of your order, claims resolutions and returns.
Anonymized statistics information is used for consumer service control and the Website performance evaluation.
We may also use your personal data in cases and in the ways required by applicable law and official authorities’ requests.
We use cookies for the purposes described below, in the chapter “Cookies Policy”.

What data we collect and process
You can browse the Website without identifying yourself and without providing any data except automatically collected technical data about your computer and connection (see more below).
However, if you want to buy something from us, we will need a limited set of your data to generate an invoice and, after that, to make a valid contract. To make an order on the Website, you have to provide valid data:
·       full name;
·       e-mail;
·       shipping and billing addresses, including country, city, street address (including house number and, if applicable, office/apartment number), post (zip) code and;
·       phone.
If you want us to inform you about our new products and services, promotions, sales and other news, you can subscribe to our newsletter:

If you contact us by e-mail with any question:
·       your e-mail address together with any other information included in the e-mail (e.g., your name, specification of your car) will be received by us;
If you contact us by phone:
·       We will not save your telephone number unless you ask us to do so.
Additionally, our servers automatically collect technical data about your computer and connection:
·       browser, operating system, IP address, time and date of your visits, statistical data on page views, traffic to and from other websites and standard web log information.

Period of personal data storage
We store your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. Anonymized data (data that cannot be attributed to a particular person) may be kept for longer solely for research or statistical purposes.
We store your order information for the period during which the sales contract may be contested in a court (this period is determined according to the applicable civil law).
Data received when you contact us by e-mail or phone is stored until your question is resolved.
Technical data about your computer and connection is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed.
If some legal rules require keeping your data for longer periods (e.g., for law enforcement or investigation), your data is stored for these periods.



Can you refuse to provide us your personal data
Sure. But if you choose not to provide us your personal data or provide fake data, we will not be able to process your order and deliver chosen item, or provide you proper customer service, newsletters, or other services. If you refuse to provide data during account registration, we will not be able to create your account.

What are your rights towards your data
·       You have a right to know what data about you we have, what are the sources of this data (if it was not submitted by you), if it has been transferred to third parties and names of these parties. You have a right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
·       If you find that some data is inaccurate or missing, you can require us to correct or supplement you data.
·       You may withdraw your consent to your personal data processing at any moment; however, in this case you will not be able to use functionalities of the Website that required personal data processing.
·       You may require blocking or deletion of your data if you think its processing is unlawful or ungrounded or if you simply don’t want it to be processed any longer.
·       If you think your data protection rights are violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
·       You also have all other rights provided by General Data Protection Regulation and national law.


To exercise your rights, you need to contact us by e-mail service@protuning.lv. Before answering your request, to make sure that we will not give your data to another person, we can ask you to provide proofs of your identity.


We may reject you request only if we obliged to do so under the law. In this case, we will try to satisfy you as far as we are allowed, for example, by blocking your information instead of deletion.

From whom we receive your data
In the case of payment by a bank transfer or by a bank card, we receive payment data from your bank according to the applicable banking rules and transfer protocols. 
If you pay by PayPal, we see the payment details and data provided by you to PayPal according to PayPal rules and protocols.
WE NEVER GET ACCESS TO YOUR AUTHORIZATION CREDENTIALS IN YOUR INTERNET BANK OR PAYPAL AND CANNOT SEE HOW MUCH MONEY DO YOU HAVE ON YOUR ACCOUNT.

You may follow us in social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). If you do so, we will be able to get some data from your profiles in these social networks according to their privacy policies:

Parties that may be given access to your personal data
To deliver your order to you, we have to provide your data to our partners, shipping and delivery service providers. We provide them only the data required to deliver your order.
We are obliged to give your personal data to official authorities in cases provided by law, for example, for purposes of criminal investigation.
We may use Google Analytics services that collect and process data about how you use the Website. Google Analytics receives from us no data that personally identifies you as an individual (name, e-mail address, shipping address), only aggregated data. Account protection
Your password security is essential to the safety of your account. We highly encourage to use unique letters, numbers, and characters and never to disclose your account password to anyone. In case you decide to share your credentials (login, password) to another party – bear in mind that you are fully responsible for all actions that occur in your account, including legally binding actions that were carried out in your account on your behalf.
